FreeFileTools is a free, browser-based utility that allows users to convert, compress, and transform image files entirely within their own web browser. No files are uploaded to any remote server. All processing occurs locally using standard browser APIs including HTML5 Canvas, WebAssembly, and the File API.

The Service is provided free of charge to individual users and organisations for both personal and commercial use, subject to the acceptable use terms below.

You agree to use FreeFileTools only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Use the Service to process, convert, or distribute files containing illegal, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable content.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FREEFILETOOLS AND ITS DEVELOPERS, CONTRIBUTORS, PARTNERS, OR AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

  • Loss of data, revenue, profits, business opportunity, or goodwill.
  • Damages resulting from conversion errors, file corruption, or output quality loss.

Because all file processing takes place locally within your own web browser and no data is transmitted to our servers, FreeFileTools has no control over your local computing environment, browser compatibility, or the integrity of any file output.
